Our aerial yoga teacher training course is designed and structured to turn you into
a professional and confident teacher, who can: 

• Tailor classes to different needs and expectations of your students, making them both accessible and adaptable

Who Is This Course For?

Our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training course is designed for current yoga teacher, pilates and dance instructors, personal trainers and passionate yoga students.

Our only requirement is that you a have minimum of 6 months experience as a yoga student (any style).

If you are already a yoga teacher, the aerial yoga teaching skills will come more quickly. However the technical aspects of teaching, sequencing and designing aerial classes will be new to everyone.

What Is The Content of Our Training Course?

Our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course will provide you with a solid foundation and essential skills you require to develop effective, engaging and safe classes. It will also prepare you to teach both basic and more advanced aerial yoga repertoire. The course modules will prepare you to:

  • Teach both group and private classes
  • Design aerial yoga sequences tailored to specific needs of your students
  • Understand fundamental anatomy of inversions
  • Use biomechanical principles of aerial asanas applied to: breathing, transitions, static poses
  • Clearly and safely instruct aerial poses
  • Break down each exercise for your students
  • Assist your students in going in and out of the poses
  • Modify poses
  • Create a variety of sequencing options to keep clients motivated
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, using verbal cues and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation.

The course will be delivered over 4 days.

• 30-hr immersion in our studio

• Professional teaching certification (upon successful graduation)

We require our participants to:

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have practiced yoga for at least 6 months (any style)
  • Have no contraindications to practise aerial yoga, as listed on our WORKSHOP’S PAGE

In order to receive a 40hr Yoga Alliance certification from us you will have to:

– Pass a theoretical and practical exam

– Attend all of the course tuition time

– Perform daily tasks given to you during the course

– Return a completed self-practice log before the start of the course (sent to you after registration)

Your exam will consist of two parts: theory and practical teaching. 
You will have 90 minutes for your theoretical exam, which will be held on the 4th day of the course. 
It will cover anatomy, knowledge of aerial asanas, the main safety features and contraindications.
The written exam consists of multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank and open questions.
The practice teaching will take at the end of the course. It will be conducted among the course participants.
Every future aerial instructor will be required to prepare a short sequence and teach it to the class.  

If you have to retake a theoretical or practical exam, this should happen within 12 months of the date of the original exam. This has to be arranged with Let’s flyoga instructors and will be charged additional 100eur. 

You will receive the certification on the last day of the course upon successful completion of the practical and theoretical teaching assessment.

The deposit is non-refundable. In case you can’t come to the course of your choice and you give us 4 weeks notice before the commencement of the training, you will be able to transfer your deposit to another course. If you cancel your attendance under 4 weeks before the course commences, your deposit will be withheld. Our refund policy is strict as we only have 9 places on our course.
